Meet Principal, Emily Ferg
Hello St. Martin families and the Clintonville community,
I have been at St. Martin Lutheran School since 2010. I moved to Clintonville from California after receiving my first call. I attended a Lutheran grade school and high school. I valued my educational experiences and I am excited to be a part of an amazing church and Lutheran school community now as an educator.
Growing up in Southern California, I received my Bachelor's Degree from Concordia University Irvine in Liberal Studies, Elementary Education. I have been teaching second grade for fourteen years at St. Martin. During my time here, I have coached girls basketball, volleyball, and assisted with cheer. I have also served on the Board of Youth and assisted with Vacation Bible School.
In 2013, I received a Master’s Degree of Science in Educational Design and Technology from Concordia University Wisconsin. After being involved with many leadership opportunities, I realized that God's plan was bigger for me than I imagined. I went on to further my education at Concordia University Wisconsin to earn my Principal Administrator’s License.
Aside from school, I spend a lot of time with my family. In 2017, I married my husband Shannon Ferg. I have three wonderful stepsons who have gone through St. Martin Lutheran School and are now high school graduates pursuing their careers.
I feel very blessed to be a growing part of St. Martin Lutheran. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity. My goal is to help cultivate a supportive climate and culture at our school where students and teachers can grow educationally and in the faith.
